Serra Cafema Camp
Auf unserer Kaokoveld-Tour besuchen wir die Luxus-Zeltlodge "Serra Cafema" an Namibias Nordgrenze zu Angola, direkt am Kunene Fluss. Das Ambiente dieser Lodge ist einmalig: die reetgedeckten Chalets und die Verbindungswege zwischen ihnen ruhen auf Holzstelzen. Der Fluss läd zu einer Kanufahrt ein, jedoch nicht zum Schwimmen - angesichts der Flusspferde und Krokodile, die hier leben. Dafür gibt es auf der Lodge einen schönen Pool.
We visit this luxury lodge on our Kaokoveld tour en route to the northern frontier of Namibia. The Serra Cafema lodge is situated right at the banks of Kunene River. There is no place like this: The tented reed-chalets and the connecting paths are based on wooden piles. Feel free to take part in a kanoe tour, but beware of swimming in the river - because of the hippos and crocodiles living there. Fortunately, the lodge provides a beautiful pool.
